In 2 weeks, I will be 2 months in!

Still no noticeable changes. But, after month 3 I was thinking I will go off my bone juice for a month and see what happens, see if my body 'misses it.'

Last week I changed it up a bit - I was hearing so many good things about mushrooms from Shawn Stevenson (The Model Health Show Podcast - available on iTunes). So, I bought some shitake mushrooms and dumped them in with my last batch of broth! It looked tasty, but, the smell it created in the house...not so tantalizing haha. I am still finishing off my batch before that, so, I haven't tried the shitake bone broth just yet. But, we shall see!

Here are some facts about mushrooms!

1. They are the only fruit and vegetable source of vitamin D!

2. They boost your immune system

3. They have free-radical fighting antioxidants

4. Loaded with B vitamins that help boost your metabolism

5. They have selenium which helps protect the bladder!
